surrounds and plagues my already troubled mind
How did I come to this point?

Where the only true deliverance
is shutting myself off from this life
a nearly bloodless severance
of the spirit and what is me to your eyes

In flesh I am evolved but not in my soul
a creator unable to bear a child

unfolding in wine and a sexual rush
like silence hiding in a storm of noise

My instincts try to pacify me
a part of me then weeps and steps aside...
but I need to be a hunter for my spirituality
for a violent father (only) creates a violent child
